Reading Eggs Update

My Reading Eggs Dashboard "recent activity" says:

◦Timothy completed lesson 11 about the letter n as in nut. Timothy read the 'Nn' alphabet book.


◦Timothy has finished the first 10 lessons and has now completed the Map 1 quiz. Congratulations Timothy!
◦Timothy has completed lesson 10 and the first map. Well done!

◦Timothy completed lesson 9, where Timothy read the words I and am and the sentence, I am Sam. Timothy read the storybook, I am.

It also says he's learned 28 out of 237 phonics skills and 4 sight words out of 200.

Honestly, the lessons are getting a bit more difficult as they require more and more computer skills. However, he seems to be stepping up to the challenge. Even though he's sometimes frustrated when he doesn't get an answer right the first time, he still enjoys doing the lessons and "collecting" characters that hatch from eggs. It's still a joyous time for him.

We still have 21 days left on his free subscription so we're not making any purchasing decisions now. From what I've seen so far, however, this will be a GREAT resource to have as we school less and nurse a newborn more. :-)
