The most essential part of Hannah's new nursery/den area is the 3 foot divider bookshelves. Our room is a full 24 foot across and we needed something that would stretch the entire way (with a gate in between). It's hard to find that in the store! We thought aobut doing cheap Walmart bookshelves all the way across the room, but we would've had to attach them all together and they would have been made of flimsy MDF.
The bookshelves are mostly for Hannah's safety; Samuel is just two and I'm not sure he has the understanding that he can hurt a tiny baby. We'll teach him, but we also want some separation so that she'll have her own little neck of the woods. These bookshelves will give us that!
