Nursery/Den: Before

We've been in the new house for a month! Lots of things are looking great: the living room is done, the kitchen is done, all of our food is organized. The bathrooms have all our stuff in them, the kid's bedroom is done and clothes are in drawers and closets....

The 24.5ft x ~20ft nursery/den off our bedroom, however, remains barren. We have an assembled crib in the wrong spot and random baby items thrown here and there. We have a TV set up and, as you can see, we've had an airbed blown up for a couple of days so the kids can chill and watch Netflix movies at naptime.

I have got to turn this into a clear, divided nursery/den area! This is a BIG room and I want to make the most of it. I love that it's right off our bedroom! I envision bookshelves going down the long part of the room, dividing off the area to the left of the window seat. Hannah's crib, changing table, and hamper will be one one side while the other side will be a "Doman area" with our large crawling track, Baby Smarts decals, etc.We desperately need the bookshelves to store not only books but Doman cards and some toys, as well.

We're a long way off! We want the bookshelves to be study and they have to be 20 feet long and 3 feet high, so we'll be building those ourselves. THEN we'll need to paint them. We also have to paint the changing table and do some additional assembly on the crib. Our crawling track bottom needs to be reupholstered and it also needs center rails....

*sigh* Is this possible in the month that we have? I dunno! I guess we'll see!
